Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 46

The main has been valved off on Woodmancote Drive to make an emergency repair for a water main break on Woodmancote Drive.

This will affect Woodmancote Drive and Cloyanna Lane.

The repair is expected to be completed and services restored to those streets affected within approximately four hours.

The District’s Operator will be flushing the system by opening fire hydrants to flush out any old water and bring fresh water into the system. The District’s water is safe to drink.

On 8 January 2025, there was a mechanical issue at the District’s Water Plant. As a result of the Booster Pumps air being locked and the compressor running and pumping air into the pressure tanks, air bubbles were distributed into the drinking water.

The issue has been resolved, the system did not lose pressure during this event, and the District’s water is safe to drink.
